The Untethered Mind

In 1961, radio astronomer Frank Drake formulated a mathematical equation to determine the number of communicating civilizations in the cosmos. This equation, now referred to as the Drake Equation, frames out the potential of finding higher intelligence beyond Earth.
Although there is no verifiable solution to this equation, it is a generally accepted tool used by the scientific community to examine the probability of life beyond planet Earth.

Frank Drake saw the potential of extraterrestrial life beyond the scope of static perception and formulated the following equation:
                                N = R*, fp, ne, fl, fi, fc, L

Frank Drake saw the potential of extraterrestrial life beyond the scope of static perception and formulated the following equation:

          N = R* fp  ne  fl  fi  fc  L

N = The number of civilizations in the Milky Way galaxy whose electromagnetic emissions are detectable.

R* The rate of formation of stars suitable for the development of intelligent life.

fp  The fraction of those stars with planetary systems.

ne The number of planets, per solar system, with an environment suitable for life.

fl  The fraction of suitable planets on which life actually appears.

fi  The fraction of life bearing planets on which intelligent life emerges.

fc  The fraction of civilizations that develop a technology that releases detectable signs of their existence into space.

L  The length of time such civilizations release detectable signals into space.

While the Drake equation seems plausible to understand life beyond Earth, it can also reflect the mind’s potential to expand beyond static perception, comprehending God aka higher intelligence (infinite potential).

N =  The number of recognized thoughts beyond learned concepts and belief.

R* The rate at which the mind absorbs new concepts and ideas.

fp   The probability within the mind that such concepts and ideas will create expanded belief.

ne  The mass of perceptual energy that fuels thought.

fl   The fraction of thoughts that manifest into reality.

fi   The fraction of manifested thought that defines new realities.

fc  The fraction of the mind’s ability to transmit new realities to other minds.

L   The length of time the mind ascends with greater awareness.

You are expanding your perception beyond the limits of the self-preserving ego.
Self-awareness is slowly surfacing with the observance of your world. There is a gradual realization that what you are seeing is somehow connected to you. The ego has existed in the “I” state long enough to understand that aspect of itself, a state that showed you the repercussions of separation and greed.

The “I” state insists on being right, even in the subtle awareness in being wrong.

As your spirit transcends, your awareness rises to broader perspectives. You are beginning to understand your world with an expanded value system.

What you previously adhered to as “truth” is now breaking the barriers of programmed belief.

From this awareness comes the realization that the limited perception of right and wrong is just a label of ego-based insistence, lacking the broader view of greater understanding. Now, you are seeing the components of creation, not just the image, because from lifetimes of experience, you realize that, in everything, there is a cause and in every cause, there is an effect.

Reality seems skewed at times, riddled with confusion and cloaked with deception.
You are beginning to feel a subtle inclination that truth is an illusion. Through objective observation, it is clear that people possess strong differences in their perspectives.
So what perspective is accurate?
And how can it be verified?
One could say that accuracy of right and wrong is determined by experiences. This is correct, but that too is subjective. Therefore, “truth” can only subjective to infinite levels of awareness. These infinite levels are the fabric of existence, some know as God.

Perception, like, truth, is an ever-expanding state of awareness.

With each new experience, (good or bad) you gain a broader view of understanding. How and what you choose to focus on is relevant to your state of awareness. From the ego-state you are inside looking out at a world filled with infinite potential. But, beyond the limits of the ego perspective, you ARE all that you see—the infinite potential of an ever-expanding microcosm within an ever-expanding macrocosm.

The process of understanding one’s infinite potential is a gradual development comprised of experiences and self-awareness. Children are taught from the beginning to grasp concepts through example. Toys play a big role in teaching a baby, utilizing metaphorical means such as fairy tales, colors, faces, repetition...etc. As the baby learns each new concept, a higher intelligence is attained and awareness is expanded.

The baby grows through such elementary teachings to reach a higher intelligence. Perceived from a broader view, reality is a metaphor presenting itself in infinite ways to guide you toward the collective higher intelligence (your infinite potential). Thus, all that you see is a presentation of your infinite self.

As your awareness expands, you will come to realize that your adherence to any one perspective or mode of thought is a hindrance of growth—and so, truth becomes questioned.

Initially, you may feel lost or insecure, violated or even consumed with hatred. This comes with the initial resistance to the expansion of awareness. Letting go of adherences to learned beliefs can be a difficult process. This analogy is clearly exemplified throughout many experiences in life, starting at birth. Leaving the womb, a place of conditioned safety and comfort is terrifying, but once the baby acclimates to the expansion of her new existence, she begins to realize the magnitude of her potential. School for many, is another example of resistance to unknown territory, as the child approaches each new grade level with fear and anxiety, only to come out in the end with wisdom. Similarly, with each plane of awareness that is realized throughout this human life, you expand into the unknown, inspired to ascend with the wisdom of a broader perspective.

“Cause and effect” is the pulse of creation (the expanded view).

We exist in eternity therefore, there is no beginning or end. Thus, creation is the ongoing expansion of awareness.

Many perceive mistakes and failures as flaws. But these flaws are not defects or imperfections—they are stepping-stones to expanded awareness. You begin to consider the value of releasing the need to be right and you begin to see truth in multiple points of view.
Truth is an ever-expanding growth of existence, realized through an unbiased perspective and experiential wisdom. The awareness of cause and effect inspires you to seek resolution, which essentially, is a broader perspective of existence and spiritual growth. However, it is crucial to realize that such awareness can only be attained with objective self-reflection.

All observations that come into your awareness are aspects of you, illuminated by your Light and surfacing from the shadows of your hidden self.

Everything that is perceived is an aspect of the collective You, an infinite energy source fueled by the ever-expanding growth of existence.

The circumstances and behaviors of others that come into your awareness are showing you a part of yourself to be recognized and understood. At times, when your awareness is shrouded by ego and limited by the small scope of a bias perspective, such presentations become magnified with extreme circumstances. Until you seek the element of potential within yourself and understand it (an awareness that can only be attained without hatred, judgment and condemnation), it will continue to manifest itself.

As above, so below—everything is a cause and effect. Seek the cause and you will understand the effect, thus you will know.

Know thy Self and you will know the Universe and God.
